As a nurse with almost 10 years of experience, I have a passion for bringing prenatal education to eager new parents and have been lucky enough to create a career path that brings together both my nursing and teaching talents. My nursing career began in a birthing suites unit where I supported healthy and high risk births, including Caesarean sections. This is where I fell in love with educating and supporting new parents! From there, I became a public health, home visiting nurse, supporting new parents in prenatal, breastfeeding, infant growth & development, maternal mental health, etc.
And now, I am looking forward to helping you get your parenting off to a strong start.
Fun fact: Before becoming a nurse I was an elementary school teacher! As a teacher, I understand the importance of having a plan AND being flexible when plans change. This is something we emphasize in the ClassWomb.
The ClassWomb Experience
ClassWomb Prenatal Education is a program that has been curated to give you all the information you need to feel comfortable, knowledgeable and confident leading up to the birth of your baby. We are welcoming of different learning needs and will do what we can so you have a positive experience. You can choose either a group or a private class depending on your preference.
